NEW DATE SET
FOR HORSES ON PARADE AUCTION

Rochester, New York - The High Falls Brewing Company today announced the new date for the Horses on Parade Auction. The Auction will be held Friday, October 5, 2001 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and the Live Auction will begin at 6:30 with professional auctioneers Harris Wilcox Inc.

"Horses on Parade has been a year-long project that has helped unify our community," said Tom Hubbard, chief executive officer and president High Falls Brewing Company. "We sincerely hope the Auction will provide an opportunity for the community to come together with patriotism and pride and in some small way help heal the wounds from last weeks tragic events," added Hubbard. High Falls Brewing Company hopes to raise $1 million for charities by the close of the evening.

Tickets for the event are available through Thursday, October 4 through Ticketmaster (716-232-1900 or www.ticketmaster.com) and Ticket Express (716-222-5000). General admission is $15 and VIP tickets are $75 each ($750 for a table of ten). Tickets will also be available at the door.

High Falls Brewing Company today also unveiled "Freedom," a horse the company commissioned this past weekend. "Freedom is in memory of the September 11 tragedy and dedicated to the victims, their families, rescue workers, and everyone whose life has been deeply affected by the horrific event. At Auction, funds raised for Freedom, who will remain a focal part of the Rochester community, will go to the Democrat & Chronicle's Lend-A-Hand Fund which in turn, will be donated to the families of the NYC firefighters and police officers who gave their lives in an effort to rescue others, " said Howie Jacobson, chief marketing officer, High Falls Brewing Company.

One hundred horses will be for sale at the Auction. The full purchase price of each horse will be donated to Rochester-area charities: 25% to one or more of the pre-selected charities (Camp Good Days & Special Times, the Children's Hospital at Strong, Hillside Work Scholarship Connection, Wilson Commencement Park, and the Arts and Cultural Council for Greater Rochester), and 75% to a qualified 501 (c) 3 charity of the winning bidder's choice.

Horses on Parade involved corporate sponsorships of 160 life-sized fiberglass horses that have been on display in the Greater Rochester Area during the summer of 2001.
